The new Care Act which came into force on April 1st means care and support in England is changing. Care and support is the term used to describe help for adults of all ages with things like washing, dressing, eating, getting out and about and keeping in touch with friends or family.

The Department of Health has also published a number of factsheets which explain the changes introduced by the Care Act, and guidance on how the changes are to be implemented.
