Carer Forums

There are many opportunities for carers to influence service provision via carer forums eg the countywide Social & Caring Services Steering and Planning Group, Carers Advisory Forum and Policy and Development Group. There is also our Planning and Steering Group which develops local plans and discusses changes impacting carers.

Campaigning

We work closely with national organisations eg Princess Royal Trust for Carers and CarersUK, who are at the forefront of carer campaigns. We are also involved in public consultations on legislative and government guidance documents. Via our Newsletter we will inform you of these initiatives and if you wish encourage you to be involved.
