Our Leadership Team

Our team leads on delivering the charity’s vision and purpose. Top of their list is ensuring that the best interest of family and friends carers is always placed firmly at the heart of all we do.

Jennie Musgrove, Chief Executive

Jennie joined Carers Support in 2011. She is passionate about integration between social care and health services and her aim is to grow and future-proof our services for carers right across the county. She is actively developing partnerships and working to influence others to give all carers a strong voice in decisions about their caring role.

Jennie has worked in the NHS, charity management, business development and leadership roles in hospitals, Mental Health services and out in the community.   She holds a Diploma in NHS Management, Cert. in Voluntary and Community Development and an MA (Dist.) in Health and Social Care Leadership and Management. She was selected for the  National Skills Academy Programme in Leadership for Empowered and Healthy Communities and is a firm believer in asset-based community development. She has served on health and charity boards, developed new care and support services and buildings, Care Homes, a long-lasting Healthy Living Centre and Service and local Primary Care Centres.

Jennie loves the world of carers and says: “The success of Carers Support is down to having such a great mix of Trustees, volunteers, managers and staff!  My dream is for primary care hospitals and all community teams to join up information. We want to reach and support as many carers as we possibly can.”
