Pam Thomson

Hi all,

I hope you all had a good bank holiday weekend.

I’m writing to let you know that Pam Thomson, our Volunteer Coordinator will be sadly leaving us at the end of May to take up an exciting role at West Sussex Parent Carer Forum.

Pam has made a huge contribution to Carers Support since joining us in 2005; initially as a volunteer with our Chichester service and then as a Carer Support Worker for the Learning Difficulty Team in 2008, Aspergers Specialist Team in 2013 and then moving on to develop a very successful volunteering programme as our Volunteer Coordinator in 2015. Through Pam’s dedication, commitment and leadership, our volunteering programme is invaluable to the level and quality of support that we are able to provide carers. It was wonderful to watch how Pam has developed such great relationships with every volunteer at our recent volunteer celebration.

On a personal level, it’s been an absolute pleasure to work with Pam and I will really miss Pam’s professionalism, dedication, knowledge and skills and above all her passion and warmth which she brings to her work. On behalf of Carers Support, I would like to say a huge thank you to Pam and to wish her all the very best in her new role.

Many thanks

Rachael Swann
