Carers Rights Day 2019 will be held on 21st November
Each year Carers Rights Day brings organisations together to help carers in the local community know their rights and find out how to get the help and support they are entitled to.
Legal Workshops for Carers
Free legal workshops for carers. Legal experts will be on hand to talk you through some of the legal questions you may have about things like:
Power of Attorney
Carers have found these sessions extremely useful in previous years and we hope for more of the same in 2019. A fantastic opportunity to access free legal advice and information which can guide you on the best way forward in your caring role.
Booking is essential as spaces are limited. Click on your desired session for more information and follow the instructions to book. We will be sending you a reminder email and text closer to the date of the workshops.
Ask your benefits questions
This Carers Rights Day, we’ve got a benefits expert from the Department for Work and Pensions to answer your questions about things like, Universal Credit, Carers Allowance and Housing benefit.
If you have a question, you can send it to us via email, Twitter, Facebook using the #carersquestions or by using the form below. We will be publishing the answers here and on social media throughout Carers Rights Day on Thursday 21st November. Deadline for submissions is 14th November.
