Here is the latest from the comms team, so everyone knows what to expect…

Comms team

As you all know, Alan left CSWS on Friday, off to pastures new at Brighton and Hove City Council, in which I am sure he will do a fantastic job. As a result, it leaves Adeelah and I as the comms team.

Reduced comms service until Mid-January

Because we are very low on resource, there will be a skeleton service from comms. Adeelah is due to return to her Carer engagement role on the 20th December which will then just leave myself. If you do have a comms request, please do contact me and we will come up with a solution and a realistic timescale.

Scheduled emails

Alan, very kindly scheduled the group emails for December, so they will distribute as normal.

Social Media Agency

The current situation has allowed the use of a social media agency, which is great news. The agency conducted an audit a few weeks back and will work to make improvements to our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn). The contract for them to start work will be signed on w/c 25/11.19. The agency will be working from a co-produced plan and working to agreed objectives to grow our presence. I will be asking staff and volunteers for content, so I would appreciate your help on this please when the request is made.

Back out to ad for the comms role

Unfortunately, we were not able to appoint for the Marcomms Officer post. The candidates we interviewed didn’t quite hit the mark. So we are going back out to interview and, depending on the quality of the applicants, the plan is to interview on the 20th December. Will keep you updated on this.

I would just like to thank you for your patience during this time, it is most appreciated.

Do let me know if you have any questions.
