Our teams offer support to adults and young adults who are unpaid family and friend Carers. The charity has been accredited as an ‘excellent’ local provider of quality support for Carer wellbeing across the spectrum of information, advice, assessment and support with teams working collaboratively and through partnerships.
We are looking to recruit a management accountant, initially on a fixed term basis to support and assist the Finance Manager in the operation of the finance function. You will ensure continuity of service and the continued improvement of finance and business systems to support the delivery of high quality, cost-efficient services throughout the organisation. Your responsibilities will include, management accounting, accounts payable, payroll, financial accounting and preparing schedules for auditing.
Key Skills and Experience
You will need sound analytical skills to interpret and process a range of data, using accountancy packages and systems to maximize efficiency and output.
You will be able to plan and prioritise your own work in line with team objectives, being an approachable and flexible team member.
Having strong communication skills you will be a good listener and be able to clearly articulate information both verbally and in written reports.
