A flood detector provides an early warning of flood situations, such as taps being left on. The flood detector is placed on a flat surface close to a bath, wash basin, toilet or sink. The detector works when as little as 1mm of water is detected and can be connected to a monitoring centre via a Lifeline Unit or to a portable pager.
