Supporting Carers Professionally

Whether it is supporting you in going back to work after caring or talking to us about volunteer roles at Carers Support West Sussex - we are here to help

How We Enable Carers To Volunteer

Being a family and friends Carer is a unique experience for each person, following support from CSWS as a Carer, we are fortunate to have Carers who offer their time to be volunteer with CSWS. Their unique experience is a real benefit to our volunteer service and Carer volunteers can be found supporting our online and in person groups, providing a friendly chat through our Check in and Chat Telephone Befriending service, as administration help and providing peer support. We are always looking for new roles for our volunteers, so this is not an exhaustive list.

Volunteering enables our Carers to develop their skills, confidence and knowledge through our training and online learning some people are working towards finding a work placement or to be able ‘give back’ to others as they know they have been helped. All our volunteers are supported through our recruitment, training regular check ins and social events.

If you would like to know more about joining our volunteer team, you can read more on our volunteer pages and complete our online form by clicking here here or to learn more about being a volunteer please speak with our Volunteer Manager by calling 01293 699704
