At Carers Support, our Learning Disabilities Team can offer support to anyone caring for someone with a Learning Disability.  We offer a flexible programme of support and also provide information about a host of local and national organisations.

Learning Disability Week 2020

Learning Disability Week 2020 will take place online from 15 to 21 June. But not everyone can get online and some people have communication difficulties. That’s why we need your support to promote this year’s theme, which is highlighting the importance of friendships during lockdown, both online and offline.

You may not know that someone has a learning disability or that someone is caring for someone with a learning disability. Staying connected with people and time outside from caring is more difficult, as they are wanting to stay safe and free from COVID 19. Carers we support are finding meeting up and having a chat really important and at the moment, that’s even harder to do.
