  • Understanding your energy arrangements and checking if your set up best suits your requirements. 
  • Advice on Smart Metres and why they might be beneficial. 
  • Support with energy issues including tariffs, billing issues, and guidance, including contacting energy companies on a clients behalf where appropriate.  
  • Grants for help with energy costs.  
  • Urgent support such as help accessing food and topping up pre-payments 
  • Damp, mould and property issues including the best way to deal with these issues and guidance on who is responsible for it (for example some property issues will be the landlords’ responsibilities).  
  • Improving the fabric of the home, this could include things like improving a cold home, helping keep a property cool in summer.  
  • Advice and help with accessing carbon monoxide alarms and explaining the dangers.  
  • Advice on unsafe homes, including information on what to do if a landlord doesnt fix/resolve issues
