Carers Support West Sussex is hosting an informative community event dedicated to Memory, Wellbeing & Brain Health.

This event brings together a wide range of local health and community partners to support those affected by dementia, and the people who care for them.  

We are committed to reducing barriers and ensuring that everyone from our diverse communities in Crawley feels genuinely welcome, supported, and heard. While this event is open to all carers in and around the Crawley area, we especially encourage those from communities who may have felt unrepresented or overlooked by services to join us.

What to expect

  • Presentations: Opportunities to hear from people with lived experience and learn from professionals and experts.
  • Information Marketplace: Local services and organisations will be on-site.
  • Community Connection: A supportive environment to meet others and feel part of a community.
  • Complimentary Lunch: A warm and healthy lunch will be provided.
  • Health Services: A Nurse Advisor will offer pulse and general health checks.

Who to Expect

With support from Crawley Borough Council, we are co-producing this event with the Alzheimer's Society, alongside organisations such as.

NHS Prevention Assessment Team, Carers Health Team, Creative Crawley, The Forget me not Club, Age UK, Safe and Well Service, Crawley Wellbeing, Crawley Library, West Sussex Citizens Advice. The Stroke Association, MIND, BHT Pathfinder.


Community Transport
We have also partnered with Community Transport Sussex to provide an accessible vehicle service for those with difficulty accessing public transport.  Contact the Engagement team to register for this service.
