Wakehurst
Selsfield Road, Ardingly, Haywards Heath, West Sussex, RH17 6TN

10 April 2026 10:00 - 12:30

Available: 0 spaces of 15

We revisit Wakehurst to hear how their Trees for Bees project progresses. Carers will have the opportunity to hear from the Wakehurst team, as well as wander the grounds and visit the house. See more about the project below:

Wakehurst is carrying out a one-of-a-kind research project to find out what tree pollinators like best and how we can make our cities more pollinator friendly and our carers are invited to join them. You don’t need to have any prior experience, or be a scientist, Wakehurst will tell you everything you need to know.

Come along and hear from their pollination scientists about their ground breaking research, then explore the garden’s stunning landscapes while you are guided to take part in Trees for Bees – Wakehurst’s citizen science project monitoring pollinator foraging behaviour around the gardens.

Free Entry & Parking: Enjoy a day out at Wakehurst
Please note that this event is for carers only. Please wear suitable footwear and dress appropriately for the weather.
