🌱 How Funding Works at Carers Support West Sussex
We’re proud to have a contract with West Sussex County Council to deliver ten core services for carers. But this only tells part of the story.
So many of the things that truly make a difference—wellbeing workshops, Young Carers’ activities, or a friendly check-in call—sit outside of our commissioned work. That’s where fundraising make a life-changing difference.
Donations from Individuals, Community Groups, Grantmakers and Business allow us to provide the holistic, tailored support unpaid carers need. Whether that’s a mindfulness session for someone overwhelmed, or sending a young carer on a residential trip to just be a child again—your support helps us go further for local carers.

£5 could go towards refreshments at one of our carer groups or activities

GET CREATIVE
£10 could pay for arts and crafts materials, helping carers to spend some time expressing themselves with other carers.

CHECK IN AND CHAT
£30 could provide two hours of our Check in and Chat service, enabling carers to connect with a volunteer who helps them feel less alone.

Easy Fundraising

From holidays and travel, to clothing and gifts, you can raise hundreds of pounds from your everyday shopping, all at no extra cost to you.
Cocoa Loco
Cocoa Loco is an award-winning West Sussex chocolate company based in West Grinstead, and when you shop with them online using our affiliate link they will donate 10% of what you spend. All their products are Fairtrade & Organic certified – with plenty of vegan options – and come in 100% plastic-free packaging
Workplace Giving
Many employers offer match-funding or charity schemes—ask if yours does! You could nominate us as your Charity of the Year, or double your donation through matched giving.

Whether it’s supporting a carer over the phone, helping at events, or assisting behind the scenes, we’d love to have you on board.
