Support Us

There are more than 72,000 unpaid carers in West Sussex and every day, around 20 people become unpaid carers. Carers can be anyone: a child, parent, partner, friend, neighbour, or colleague. Caring does not discriminate. It affects people of all ages, backgrounds, and circumstances. Many people do not realise they are carers until the demands of supporting someone else begin to impact their own wellbeing.

We’re here to make sure they’re not alone.

With your support, we help over 29,000 carers look after their own health and wellbeing, enabling them to better help the person they care for.

Our core services are funded by West Sussex County Council and the NHS but some of our work that truly changes lives isn’t. A safe space to talk when caring feels overwhelming. A chance for a young carer to simply be a child. A wellbeing session at the right moment. A simple phone call that says, “you matter too”.

Your support can change a life and make a real difference to the lives of carers in West Sussex.

🧡 Why It Matters

There are 29,000 unpaid carers registered with us - and many more still to reach.

With your help, we can be there for every one of them.
